Navigating the Dashboard
Overview of the dashboard tabs, quick actions, and navigation
A Tour of the Dashboard
The dashboard is your home base for everything in the Treatment Plan Software. It is laid out so the actions you use most often — creating a new plan, opening a recent one, checking credits — are always one click away.
Top Bar
The header is fixed in place and contains, from left to right: the platform logo (click to return to the dashboard), the global search field, the credit indicator, the Buy Credits shortcut, the notifications bell, and your profile avatar. The avatar dropdown gives you quick access to Profile, Clinic Settings, the Help Center, and Sign Out.
Left Sidebar
The sidebar holds your primary navigation: Plans, Patients (when enabled), Templates, Tags, Clinic, and Documentation. On smaller screens the sidebar collapses to icons; click the toggle in the bottom-left corner to expand it again.
Quick Stats and CTA
At the top of the Plans tab you'll see a row of widget counters — total plans, drafts, completed, and credits remaining. They sit just below the primary CTA (New Plan) with comfortable spacing so the two areas read as distinct sections at a glance.
Main Workspace
The central area shows the content for whatever section you're in. By default it opens to Plans, where you can:
- Create a new plan with the prominent New Plan button.
- Filter plans by tag, status, language, or date range using the toolbar above the list. The status filter includes Draft, In Progress, Completed, Canceled, and Archived.
- Sort plans by most recent, patient name, or last updated.
- Open any plan by clicking its row, or use the kebab menu to share, duplicate, archive, or delete it.
- Select one or more plan cards to reveal the bulk actions toolbar — change status, archive, or delete several plans at once. See Bulk Actions on Plans for the full walkthrough.
Note: Archived plans are hidden from the default Plans view to keep things tidy. Switch the status filter to Archived to see them. Learn more in Archiving Treatment Plans.
Right Rail
On larger screens, a right-hand rail surfaces context-sensitive widgets: a snapshot of your recent activity, low-balance reminders, clinic team highlights, and quick links to relevant Help Center articles based on what you're doing.
