CBCT

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a 3D dental imaging technology that captures detailed views of teeth, jaws, sinuses, and nerves using a single rotation of a cone-shaped X-ray beam.

CBCT is invaluable for implant planning, endodontic diagnosis, third-molar assessment, and orthodontics. Compared to medical CT, it delivers far less radiation.

Popular machines include the Carestream CS 9600, the Planmeca Viso G7, and the DEXIS OP 3D LX.
