Bone Graft
A dental bone graft is a procedure that adds volume and density to the jaw in areas where bone has been lost, typically to support a future dental implant.
Graft material may be autogenous (from the patient), allograft (donor), xenograft (bovine), or synthetic. Healing usually takes 4–9 months before an implant can be placed.
