Autoclave
An autoclave is a pressurised steam steriliser used in dental practices to kill all microorganisms (including spores) on instruments, ensuring patient safety between uses.
Most dental autoclaves operate at 134°C and 2.1 bar for 3 minutes (Class B) or 121°C for 15 minutes. Common models include the Midmark M9 UltraClave and the Tuttnauer 1730 Valueklave.
