Sharing Treatment Plans
How to create share links, manage access, and download plans as PDF
Sharing a Treatment Plan
Every treatment plan can be shared directly with patients, colleagues, or referring practitioners — without giving them an account. Sharing is built around secure, revocable links so you keep full control over who can view what, and for how long.
Creating a Share Link
- Open any plan from your dashboard.
- Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
- Configure the share options (see below) and click Generate Link.
- Copy the link or send it directly via the built-in email composer.
Share Options
- Expiry — choose how long the link remains active: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or never.
- Password protection — require a passcode to view the plan. Useful for sensitive cases or when sharing over channels you don't fully trust.
- Allow downloads — let recipients save the plan as a PDF, or restrict them to view-only.
- Hide internal notes — strip out any notes or tags marked as internal so they never reach the patient.
- Language — pick which translated version of the plan the recipient sees by default.
What the Recipient Sees
The shared view is mobile-friendly, branded with your clinic's logo and colours, and shows only the patient-facing portions of the plan. Recipients can read the plan, switch language if multiple translations exist, ask follow-up questions through an optional contact button, and download a PDF if you've allowed it.
Tracking Activity
Open the Activity tab on any shared plan to see when it was first viewed, how many times, and from which device type. This is useful for follow-up calls — you'll know whether the patient has actually opened the plan before the next conversation.
Revoking Access
Click the Revoke button on any active share link to invalidate it immediately. Anyone who tries to open the link afterwards will see a "this link is no longer available" message. You can also create a new link any time, even after revoking the old one.
